| 詩篇-Psalms 第 78 章 |
| 78:1 | 我的民哪，你們要留心聽我的教訓，側耳聽我口中的話。 Give ear, O my people, to my instruction; Incline your ears to the words of my mouth. |
| 78:2 | 我要開口說比喻；我要說出古時的謎語， I will open my mouth in a parable; I will utter riddles from of old, |
| 78:3 | 是我們所聽見所知道的，也是我們的祖宗向我們所述說的。 Which we have heard and known, And our fathers have related to us. |
| 78:4 | 我們不將這些事向他們的子孫隱瞞，要將耶和華當得的讚美，和祂的能力，並祂所作的奇事，述說給後代聽。 We will not hide them from their children, But will relate to the generation to come The praises of Jehovah and His strength And His wondrous deeds that He has done. |
| 78:5 | 因為祂在雅各中立了見證，在以色列中設了律法，是祂吩咐我們祖宗，要他們給子孫知道的； Indeed He has established a testimony in Jacob And appointed a law in Israel, Which He commanded our fathers That they should make them known to their children; |
| 78:6 | 使將要生的後代子孫，可以曉得；他們也要起來向他們的子孫述說； That the generation to come, The children to be born, may know them, Who should arise and relate them to their children; |
| 78:7 | 好叫他們寄望於神，不忘記神的作為，惟要遵守祂的命令； That they might set their hope in God, And not forget the deeds of God, But observe His commandments; |
| 78:8 | 不至像他們的祖宗，是頑梗悖逆、居心不正之輩，他們的靈向著神不忠信。 That they might not be like their fathers, A stubborn and rebellious generation, A generation that did not set their heart right, And whose spirit was not faithful to God. |
| 78:9 | 以法蓮的子孫，帶著兵器，拿著弓箭，臨陣之日卻轉身退後。 The children of Ephraim, armed archers with bows, Turned back in the day of battle. |
| 78:10 | 他們不遵守神的約，不肯遵行祂的律法； They did not keep the covenant of God, And they refused to walk in His law. |
| 78:11 | 又忘記祂所行的，和祂向他們所顯奇妙的作為。 And they forgot His doings And His wondrous deeds that He had shown them. |
| 78:12 | 祂在埃及地，在瑣安田，在他們祖宗的眼前，施行奇事。 He did something wonderful in the sight of their fathers In the land of Egypt, in the field of Zoan. |
| 78:13 | 祂將海分開，使他們過去，又叫水立起如壘。 He divided the sea and caused them to pass through, And He made the water stand as a heap. |
| 78:14 | 祂白日用雲彩，終夜用火光，引導他們。 And He led them with the cloud by day And all the night with a light of fire. |
| 78:15 | 祂在曠野裂開磐石，多多的給他們水喝，如從深淵而出。 He split rocks in the wilderness And gave them abundant drink, as from the depths. |
| 78:16 | 祂使水從磐石湧出，叫水如江河流下。 He also brought forth streams from the rock And made water run down like rivers. |
| 78:17 | 他們卻仍舊得罪祂，在幹旱之地悖逆至高者。 Yet they still continued to sin against Him, To rebel against the Most High in the desert. |
| 78:18 | 他們心中試探神，隨自己所欲的求食物； And they put God to the test in their heart, By asking for food according to their desire. |
| 78:19 | 並且出言頂撞神，說，神豈能在曠野擺設筵席麼？ They also spoke against God; They said, Can God prepare a table in the wilderness? |
| 78:20 | 看哪，祂曾擊打磐石，使水湧出，如同江河泛濫；祂還能賜糧食麼？還能為祂的百姓豫備肉麼？ Behold, He struck the rock, And water gushed out, And streams overflowed; Can He also give us bread, Or provide meat for His people? |
| 78:21 | 所以耶和華聽見，就發怒。有火向雅各燒起，有怒氣向以色列上騰； Therefore Jehovah heard and was angry. And a fire was kindled against Jacob, And also anger went up against Israel; |
| 78:22 | 因為他們不相信神，不倚靠祂的救恩。 Because they did not believe in God, And they did not trust in His salvation. |
| 78:23 | 祂卻吩咐在上的穹蒼，又敞開天上的門， Yet He commanded the skies above And opened the doors of heaven; |
| 78:24 | 降嗎哪像雨給他們吃，將天上的糧食賜給他們。 And He rained down upon them manna to eat And gave them the food of heaven. |
| 78:25 | 人吃大能者的食物；祂差下糧食，使他們飽足。 Man ate the bread of the mighty; He sent them full provision. |
| 78:26 | 祂使東風在天空刮起，又用能力引來南風。 He made the east wind blow in the heavens And guided the south wind by His strength. |
| 78:27 | 祂降肉像雨給他們，多如塵土，又降飛鳥，多如海沙， And He rained upon them meat like dust, And winged birds like the sand of the seas. |
| 78:28 | 落在他們的營中，在他們住處的四圍。 And He made it fall in the midst of their camp, Around their habitations. |
| 78:29 | 他們吃了，而且極其飽足；這樣，祂就隨了他們所欲的。 So they ate and were well filled; Indeed what they desired He brought to them. |
| 78:30 | 他們貪而無厭，食物還在口中的時候， They were not estranged from what they desired; Their food was still in their mouths |
| 78:31 | 神的怒氣就向他們上騰，殺了他們內中的肥壯人，打倒以色列的少年人。 When the anger of God went up against them And slew some of their fattest ones And struck down the choice men of Israel. |
| 78:32 | 雖經這一切，他們仍舊犯罪，不相信祂奇妙的作為。 In spite of all this they still sinned And did not believe in His wondrous deeds. |
| 78:33 | 因此祂使他們的日子在虛空中耗盡，使他們的年歲在驚恐中度完。 Therefore He consumed their days with vanity, And their years with terror. |
| 78:34 | 祂殺他們的時候，他們才求問祂，回轉過來，切切的尋求神。 When He slew them, they inquired after Him, And they returned and diligently sought God. |
| 78:35 | 他們也追念神是他們的磐石，至高的神是他們的救贖主。 And they remembered that God was their rock, And the Most High God, their Redeemer. |
| 78:36 | 他們卻用口諂媚祂，用舌向祂說謊。 But they flattered Him with their mouth And lied to Him with their tongue. |
| 78:37 | 因他們的心向祂不堅定，在祂的約上也不忠信。 For their heart was not steadfast toward Him, Nor were they faithful to His covenant. |
| 78:38 | 但祂有憐憫，遮蓋他們的罪孽，不滅絕他們；而且屢次使自己的怒氣轉消，不發盡祂的忿怒。 But He, being merciful, forgave their iniquity And did not destroy them; Indeed He turned back His anger many times And did not stir up all His wrath. |
| 78:39 | 祂想到他們不過是肉體，是一陣去而不返的風。 And He remembered that they were flesh, A wind that goes away and does not return. |
| 78:40 | 他們在曠野悖逆祂，在荒地叫祂擔憂，何其多呢！ How often they rebelled against Him in the wilderness And grieved Him in the desert! |
| 78:41 | 他們再三試探神，惹動以色列的聖者。 And they repeatedly put God to the test And provoked the Holy One of Israel. |
| 78:42 | 他們不追念祂的能力，和贖他們脫離敵人的日子； They did not remember His hand, The day when He ransomed them from the adversary; |
| 78:43 | 那時祂在埃及顯神跡，在瑣安田顯奇事， When He set His signs in Egypt And His wonders in the field of Zoan; |
| 78:44 | 把他們的江河與溪流都變為血，使他們不能喝。 And He turned their rivers into blood, As well as their streams, so that they could not drink. |
| 78:45 | 祂打發蒼蠅成群，落在他們中間，嘬盡他們；又打發青蛙毀壞他們； He sent among them a swarm offlies, which devoured them; And frogs, which destroyed them. |
| 78:46 | 祂把他們地裏的出產交給毀蝗，把他們勞碌得來的交給群蝗。 And He gave their increase to the consuming locust, And their labor to the swarming locust. |
| 78:47 | 祂用冰雹打壞他們的葡萄樹，用嚴霜打壞他們的桑樹； And He killed their vines with hail, And their sycamores with ice stones. |
| 78:48 | 又把他們的牲畜交給冰雹，把他們的群畜交給閃電。 He gave over their cattle also to the hail And their herds to the lightning bolts. |
| 78:49 | 祂打發猛烈的怒氣、盛怒、惱恨和苦難，成了一群降災禍的使者，進入他們中間。 He sent among them the burning fierceness of His anger, Overflowing wrath and indignation and trouble, A mission of angels of evils. |
| 78:50 | 祂為自己的怒氣修平了路，不使他們的魂免於死亡，乃將他們的生命交給瘟疫。 He leveled a path for His anger; He did not spare their soul from death, But gave their life over to the pestilence. |
| 78:51 | 祂在埃及擊殺一切頭生的，在含的帳棚中，擊殺他們力量強壯時頭生的。 And He struck all the firstborn in Egypt, The first of their vigor in the tents of Ham. |
| 78:52 | 祂卻領出自己的民如羊，在曠野引他們如羊群。 But He set forth His people like sheep And led them like a flock in the wilderness. |
| 78:53 | 祂領他們穩穩妥妥的，使他們不至害怕；海卻淹沒他們的仇敵。 And He led them to safety, so that they did not fear; But the sea covered their enemies. |
| 78:54 | 祂帶他們到自己聖地的境界，到祂右手所得的這山。 And He brought them forth to His holy border, The mountain, which His right hand had acquired. |
| 78:55 | 祂在他們麵前趕出外邦人，用繩子將外邦的地量給他們，拈鬮分給他們為業，叫以色列支派的人在那裏住在他們的帳棚裏。 And He drove out the nations before them And allotted them as an inheritance by line, And He made the tribes of Israel dwell there in their tents. |
| 78:56 | 他們仍舊試探、悖逆至高的神，不持守祂的見證； Yet they put Him to the test and rebelled against God the Most High, And did not keep His testimonies. |
| 78:57 | 反倒退後，行詭詐，像他們的祖宗一樣；他們翻轉，如同詭詐的弓。 And they turned back and dealt treacherously, as their fathers had done; They turned aside like a deceitfulbow. |
| 78:58 | 他們用邱壇惹了祂的怒氣，用雕製的偶像觸動祂的妒忌。 Indeed they provoked Him to anger with their high places And made Him jealous with their graven images. |
| 78:59 | 神聽見就發怒，極其厭惡以色列人。 God heard, and He was angered; And He greatly abhorred Israel. |
| 78:60 | 於是祂離棄示羅的帳幕，就是祂在人間所搭的帳棚； Thus He forsook the tabernacle in Shiloh, The tent in which He dwelt among men; |
| 78:61 | 又將祂的約櫃交與人擄去，將祂的榮美交在敵人手中。 And He gave over His ark into captivity, And His glory into the hand of the adversary. |
| 78:62 | 並將祂的百姓交與刀劍，向祂的產業發怒。 He also delivered His people to the sword And was angry with His inheritance. |
| 78:63 | 他們的少年人被火燒滅，他們的處女也無喜歌。 Fire devoured their young men, And their virgins had no marriage song. |
| 78:64 | 他們的祭司倒在刀下，他們的寡婦卻不哀哭。 Their priests fell by the sword, And their widows did not lament. |
| 78:65 | 那時主如同睡醒，像勇士因飲酒呼喊。 Then the Lord awoke as if from sleep, Like a mighty man who shouts because of wine. |
| 78:66 | 祂打退了祂的敵人，叫他們永蒙羞辱。 And He struck His adversaries and sent them back; He put an everlasting reproach upon them. |
| 78:67 | 並且祂棄掉約瑟的帳棚，不揀選以法蓮支派， And He rejected the tent of Joseph, And the tribe of Ephraim He did not choose. |
| 78:68 | 卻揀選猶大支派，祂所愛的錫安山。 Rather He chose the tribe of Judah, Mount Zion, which He loved. |
| 78:69 | 祂蓋造祂的聖所，好像高峰，又像祂所建立永存之地。 And He built His sanctuary like the heights, Like the earth that He has founded forever. |
| 78:70 | 又揀選祂的仆人大衛，從羊圈中選取了他； Moreover He chose David His servant And took him from the sheepfolds; |
| 78:71 | 叫他不再跟從那些帶奶的母羊，為要牧養自己的百姓雅各，和自己的產業以色列。 From following after the ewes He brought him To shepherd Jacob His people And Israel His inheritance. |
| 78:72 | 於是，他按心中的純全牧養他們，用手中的巧妙引導他們。 And he shepherded them according to the integrity of his heart, And guided them by the skillfulness of his hands. |
